Thinking of a new career? Considering becoming a driving instructor yourself? What has it got to offer ?
The Driving Academy offers a comprehensive approach to training you to become an Approved Driving Instructor in your own right. We offer help and advice through the key stages of the qualification process, and will provide a flexible, interactive approach to your training.
Our courses can be paid in full, or on a pay as you go basis. We also use email where possible to update your feedback. Find out more about becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), on www.dsa.gov.uk , or ring us for a chat.
Once qualified as an instructor, you will be called upon by the DSA, to allow an examiner to periodically sit in on one of your regular driving lessons and ensure that your teaching methods and standards, are being kept up to standard. The Driving Academy will help and assess your current teaching methods, prior to you taking a check test.
Our check test courses are normally half day, to evaluate Briefings, levels of instruction and core competencies. We will do a full day, including sitting in on one of your own driving lessons if required.
